The answer to this question is yes. First and foremost, you should know that LASIK surgery is safe. This does not mean that there are no complications, but overall LASIK as a procedure has been tested, refined, and re-tested, and is now a very safe procedure. Sure, there are accidents and certain things that go wrong, and I certainly do not want to imply or promise that nothing will go wrong during your eye surgery because there’s no way I can honestly say that. But LASIK is out of any experimental phase and there are a lot of very good eye doctors performing the procedure. There are also a few bad apples out there just like in any field. You should do as much research as possible, read about LASIK eye surgery, talk to people, and try to get more than one opinion about whether or not you should undergo any kind of laser guided eye surgery. It always helps to be prepared.
